If I use AGR Points for ,say a 2 zone trip, as lomg as the room is available, I get it? Do I pay any taxes on the fare?

Yes (if departure is not on a blackout date) and No (no actual money whatsoever; a nice refreshing change from airline programs).

Make sure to put the 2nd person on the reservation when you get it.
