AGR open sleeper ticket

a) Can one get an open sleeper ticket on an AGR reservation (without spending extra points)?

b) Do I even need one if the downline passenger is boarding at a transfer point?

Why not just put them on the rez for the whole trip and tell the Conductor and SCA ( and the LSA if any meals are involved) that So-n-So will be boarding @ ___________ !

The rez will have their name and you can send them an E-mail or the rez # to use @ a Quik-Trak or with an Agent and they'll have their copy to board in ___________!

Comes in handy if there are Gate Dragons or they board @ an unstaffed Station.

Would it be a problem if someone is trying to get on the train several stations after the boarding station shown on the ticket? It seems like a gate dragon might go nuts.

It wouldn't even be the same crew. The way I'm thinking about planning this one is that the other person is missing an entire segment and boarding where I will have a transfer anyway (i.e. we meet in a station).
