My father and I will be travelling to Alaska to visit my uncle and am taking a side trip to Denali National Park for two nights and then on to Fairbanks on the Alaska Railroad. I have a few questions.
- I know there is no wi-fi, but are there power outlets?
- How does the dining car work? Do we make reservations, or do we just show up?
- On a related note, will we be seated in the dining car at the same table as another party?
- What are some scenic highlights of the trip?
- Does the train often run late?
- Does the conductor assign seats, and when we board at Denali for the second leg of our journey, will we have trouble finding seats together? We will be traveling in Goldstar Class.
