There's been a surprising lack of interest in this from the English language media in Montréal, so instead here are links to the blog of Steve ****uy, a local journalist and commentator, and to two French language news sites. Although these are at the very early stages of development (compared to the Repentigny/Mascouche line, now under construction), the AMT has been talking openly about dream routes for Montréal's growing suburban rail network. Potential destinations include Chateauguay, Beauharnois, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, and Marieville.
