Amtrak Cascades Equipment Change
Effective May 4 - 10, 2018

Due to maintenance and upgrades on current equipment, including positive train control, Amtrak Cascades will use Superliner equipment on select routes between Portland and Eugene. During this time the affected trains will not offer checked baggage, WiFi, Business Class, bicycle space and will provide limited food service options. Below is a breakdown of what trains and dates are affected.
Southbound Between Portland and Eugene

Train 505 on May 4 and 9
Train 511 on May 7, 8 and 10
Train 513 on May 5 and 6Northbound Between Eugene and Portland

Train 500 on May 4 and 10
Train 506 on May 5
Train 508 on May 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10Bus Service May 4 and 9

Train 508 and 511 will bus passengers between Portland and Eugene on May 4 and May 9. Buses will not offer checked baggage, WiFi, Business Class, bicycle space or food service.
