In light of increased security concerns, Amtrak's Board of Directors has named James F. McDonnell to the newly created position of vice president, security. McDonnell, currently with the Dept. of Homeland Security, Office of Infrastructure Protection, will be on-board June 7 and report directly to Amtrak's senior vice president of operations.
