Amtrak makes a movie appearance

According to my sources, Amtrak was involved in the making of a new Cameron Diaz movie yesterday. A special train consisting of P-42 #1 (go figure), and three Amfleet II Coaches (2 in VI, 1 in IV) were sent out around 11 AM yesterday to Deerfield Beach for shooting of the new movie. The train then ran up to Northwood, wyed, and returned to Miami.

Speaking of...

In the last couple weeks of my training, I've moved some Horizon cars around, apparently for Ocean's 12 from what I've been told. I haven't seen any film crews as of yet, but apparently it's all in getting ready for them.

My source and I were both surprised that there was a mixed bag as far as paint schemes go in the consist, we both found it surprising that it was not a pure VI consist. The cars and engine reportedly were in immaculate condition (exterior wise), so at least they did something right.
