I believe that's what the SLOW is for, I guess its Shore Line One Way.

I based my guess on what the ticket was for based solely on the price and the route. After I initially made my post I thought it was for the gap in service between Providence and New London, which after taking a peek at the ticket I realized the sleep deprivation had not caused me to hallucinate. This is a situation similar to what NJT does if you go to Philadelphia from NYP. NJT will issue a SEPTA ticket printed on NJT ticket stock for use on the train from Trenton to PHL and from PHL to Trenton, which the forst time I tried this routing I found odd. I thought the NJT agent would have separate SEPTA tickets on SEPTA stock for sale. Go figure

The SLOW is also for an idiot like me who can't tell the difference between a SLE and an Amtrak ticket! :lol:
