Does anybody know what fequency amrtrak runs on, in ordered to pick it up on the radio in Rockville, MD?

You can find just about any Amtrak frequency around over on On Track On Line's scanner pages. Just click here to be taken to the main page. Then simply choose the route you want.

They are indeed a very good source for Radio Freq. They are usually about 95% accurate, althought sometimes the railroads will use one frequency longer or shorter than noted, etc.

Which is why they provide the means for you to send in any corrections that people might have. You'll notice that both Battalion's name and my own appear on various pages, as we've both confirmed new data.

I'm not sure if anyone else from this board has contributed, but there are other trainfan's who've also sent in info.
