A BNSF derailment in New Mexico has had an effect on Trains 3 and 4, the SOUTHWEST CHIEF.
Train 4(26) from Los Angeles will be held back in Gallup awaiting the line reopening.
Train 3(25) from Chicago, was terminated in Albuquerque, NM on the 26th, with six buses taking passengers west from there.
Train 4(27) will originate from Los Angeles tonight, but it will be a coach-only stub train that will terminate in Albuquerque, NM. Passengers will transfer in ABQ to the terminated equipment to head east from there.
