I went down to NOUPT this morning and bought a one-way ticket on the Sunset from NOL to SAS for next Wednesday, 2/23. Pretty decent fare of $58. I have some old Continental Airlines passes to use for my return back to NOL.
This time it looks like i'll be able to bring my brother's digital camera along for the ride, so yall can expect some good quality pictures of the journey, plus the usual trip report.
I'm looking forward to getting back on #1 again. It's just a great train.
