Yes, this also was my guess (although I thought that they just unleashed some "wild" computer algorithm).
The pricing, in general, stopped making sense.
For example, the price for a Family Bedroom started at $787 (the highest bucket).
At the same time, the price for a [regular] Bedroom was $332.
If you have 4 people, it would be actually cheaper to buy and co-join TWO BEDROOMS
(with a tremendous increase in space) than to cram everybody into a Family Bedroom.
In years past, joining 2 bedrooms was always the most expensive (and the most "luxurious" option).
All these natural "relations" between different types of accommodation seem to be out of the window
this year.
