Beech Grove to release 14 off rip track by Sept

For the first time in years, refurbished cars -- shiny and mechanically sound on the outside,

nicely appointed with new furniture, air-conditioning and other amenities on the inside --

are starting to roll out of the massive train sheds at Beech Grove.

Well, I'm glad the repairs are going on. Hopefully enough repairs will be made soon so that the Cardinal can go back to Superliner, and the Palmetto back to Silver Palm (I'd guess with next April's Timetables). B)

Alan, be prepared for delays when you get ready to leave on Friday. The past two days the crew from FLO-SFA has gone on the law. My buddy had to go pick up the train today, so it may be along one for you.
