Well, BNSF decided to drop a load of grain on the ground about 2 miles west of the Williston, ND, Amtrak station. It looks like both tracks in that area are affected, so the Builder will probably have some bustitution or a long delay. Amtrak's website is showing the "Service Disruption" message, so it's no help. I don't know if #8 (scheduled for 11:07 AM) got through before the derailment occured, but it's not likely since the train status page won't show anything for either #7 or #8.

I'll post more as I find out.

Looks like the BNSF is catching a bit of the UP virus.
 I hope not! The tracks were reopened today, so it's still not as bad as UP. If it happened on UP, they'd still be looking for the crew and equipment to send out to the derailment site. :D
