Bus substitute pickup location in Worcester

Mom will be on 449 today but the bus substitute. Anyone able to confirm if the bus pulls up in front of Worcester Union Station or if it goes to the interminable bus pickups area down the street? She got 2 different answers.

In my experience, the "bustitute" always goes the exact same stops that the train would. They will call for boarding in the station, just like for the train (but it will be at the bus stand, or out front, they'll announce where to go). There will even be a conductor on the bus, LOL.

Good advice. The bus did come right out front. She is somewhat of a nervous traveler and the station became unstaffed since the last time she took the train. I called Amtrak and their other suggestion was simple but very true - look for the other travelers and stick together! All ended well.

Whenever Amtrak substitutes a bus for whatever reason, it is station to station. If the subbing Bus is to meet the train (not a regular bus connection), if possible the bus will actually unload on the platform.
