Now I'm pretty sure we know some things about busy days such as the day before Thanksgiving, Sunday after Thanksgiving, or locations such as Princeton Junction, but I've had more questions regarding this topic's name.

Are there any other days that are very busy during the year besides the days I just mentioned above, when I mean "busy" I mean like Amtrak running extra trains, Amfleet II Coaches, Horizon Coaches, etc. And with that, are there any other good places to rail fan on busy days that are not between New York and D.C.?

Um.... yes? The country is huge. There's a lot of good places to watch passenger train traffic in Chicago, in California, etc.

My personal favorite place to railfan outside of the NEC is the Altoona, PA area. Plenty of action, even in such a time now where freight traffic is going down.
Sounds like he's looking for places to watch Amtrak trains, not freights.
