buying coach seats in advance

Im taking the capitol limited in june. Right now, a round trip DC to Pittsburgh costs 70.00 (with student discount). If i wait to buy the ticket a week or two before the trip, will the price be higher?

I would strongly encourage you to buy your ticket now. The price will certainly increase the closer it gets to your actual trip date since more seats will sell and the inventory is priced according to the remaining supply.

I agree with Jccollins and unless it's early June, there probably won't be any rail sale seats.
