This is from the weekly e-newsletter of the Orange Empire Railway Museum, 5-23-08:
The L.A. area has experienced some crazy weather of late- last weekend it was over 100 and temps are now back down in the 60s with rain and hail. Yesterday, a tornado blew over a big rig on the 215 freeway in Perris and blew over a group of freight cars on the adjacent BNSF rail line! The incident happened near March Field, a few miles north of the Museum. No damage was reported at the Museum.
