California Zepher Question

Is the CZ operating from Sacramento to Reno yet? Someone told me Donner pass was still closed but I can't find out for sure.

I have been following this one too. I called Amtrak today and was told the bustitution is still in affect. There has been no guess as to when this will change. I read a trains article a few days ago that Donner pass was open to freight traffic, but only one track was open. The second track is still covered with up to 4 feet of snow. Since the last update was several days ago, I do not know the progress of clearing the second track. Hope this helps.

Sounds like there should be no problem with the train making it over the pass.
