Capitol limited out of Chicago

I probably should have gone with the handle 'Mapman'...

Still working on Google Earth, tracing this Summer's route from coast to coast. Never been to CHI. I'm noticing a LOT of track around the windy city. Any details as to how the Amtrak leaves CHI Union Station and heads to South Bend would be appreciated. I'd like to plot once and it appears that there are many options as I get further east.

Follow the tracks south from Union Station. Once you pass all the Amtrak shops, you'll notice that the tracks go over the Lumber St. Bridge. Keep following those tracks and you're on your way to SOB.
