Crescent in January

I bought tickets for a trip to New Orleans in January. I keep checking ticket prices just to see if they've gone down. Well, I checked today to find my train sold out. Not only that, but the train the day after and the day before are sold out. More than that, every Tuesday/Wednesday southbound Crescent is sold out in the month of January. Coach, roomettes, bedrooms ... completely sold out. Now I understand trains sell out. But three days ago NONE of these trains were sold out in either coach or sleepers. And now there's about ten completely 100% sold out? Did 10 trains really sell out all seats and sleepers in a matter of two days or is something else going on?
