Currently it’s a small selection from the cafe. Sleeper pax going east on 28 receive the boxed dinner.

Was on 27 last month in a sleeper, and was given a small 'card' of very limited selections from the cafe. In the past when using the cafe to provide the breakfast one was invited to order anything [which doesn't compare with the full breakfast on the broke away sibling to Seattle.] For that run I was on... no coffee in the sleeper either! Now restricted to the 'hockey puck' sausage 'disk' and coffee and little else. I did myself a favor and gave my stomach a rest. Meh.
Who knows... it changes at the whim of whoever is running the show. Not very impressive.

I am going to be on that train in early Feb, and based on the processed-fat-sugar-and-preservative laden selection I was offered the last time, I am taking a small bag of home-made granola. If what's on offer includes any milk or tea, I may take those items.
