denver station

always enjoyed the denver stop on the zeph. had enough time to go to wynkoops and get a growler for the evening. is the alternate station farther away to make the supposedly 1 hour stop undoable?

The new temporary station is about 3/4 of a mile away from Wynkoop Brewery if you follow the streets and sidewalks, or maybe 1/2 mile if you take a shortcut through a hole in the fence and a parking lot. The whole area is very confusing; you'll be walking under two highways, a set of railroad tracks, and by an active construction zone. I've lived in that area for several years and nearly got lost trying to walk from the temporary Amtrak station to LoDo. My advice is not to attempt it, unless the train arrives early and/or you're feeling really adventurous and can run fast if needed.
