Another thought. Go for a walk on The High Line: ( http://www.thehighline.org/ ) Located bretween 10th and 11th Aves, it openned last summer to 30th St., so it is now a short distance from NYP. On a nice day its a great place to stroll. One could grab a couple of slices or squares, go sit on one of The High Line's benches, and take in the scene with lunch.
