About 1030 pm, I noted on Union Station's cam that the train was there. The headlight was on.

About two hours later, the train was still there with the headlight off.

About a hour later it was gone. Track-a-train shows it approaching St. Cloud.

Anybody know why it sat at MSP for at least two-hours?

Dunno - might be related to this - or not.

Or possibly also related to BNSF Eastbound freight congestion due to the ethanol derailment near Alma.

Or, crew shortage, normally the EB changes operating crews at SCD, maybe the crew at SCD has a rule-constrained rest time, and had to drive to MSP from SCD?

Possibly the limited servicing facilities remaining at old MSP-midway failed to fix some important something-or-other during the layover there while the train was turned to go west?

Anybody got more info?
