EB #8 (14) delayed due to windstorm

Just leaving Leavenworth. Delayed while 20 miles of track checked for downed trees. Somehow we got priority and going around the many freights!

Currently waiting between Grotto and Skykomish. Power lines and trees in the way.

I am really on #7 and we are moving again toward Everett.

Not too surprising about the wind. I live in SE Washington, an hour south of Spokane, and we had an 85 mph wind gust near here at the Pullman-Moscow Airport. And they had predicted very nasty winds in the Cascades so not at all surprising there were delays.

I just got off the EB in Chicago. We arrived about 15 minutes early.

We must have been the EB before the windstorm.
