I've read else where that BNSF had an accident w/ a car, so EB was held back after the accident was cleared.

That makes sense, looks like they made up one of the hours. Thanks for the reply.

"Otter Tail County "

Only in northern Minnesota! :giggle:
Ya sure - you betcha

Most of the first 20 years of my life was in Otter Tail county. Back then, there were 2 county sherriffs one in Perham (East OT) one in Fergus Falls (West OT) -

The rural population has declined and no passenger service in Otter Tail county now. In the 50's and 60's the GN Red River, Winnipeg Limited and one or the other of the EB or Western Star stopped at Fergus Falls (West OT county) and the NP ran a (maybe what we would now call a "corridor" service or maybe only a "feeder" service ) from Staples MN on the NP main line to Oakes ND once daily - only a RDC and one or two coaches - that the locals called a "coffee train" - think the name "coffee train" was because that was the only on-board food service - only coffee - BYO donut.

Now - not only the passenger service - but most of the rails are gone forever.

Nostalgia - it aint what it used to be
