EB/LSL Still "Gaurenteed"?

I heard somewhere that Amtrak would be closing their last Guaranteed connection at CHI - EB/LSL. I haven't found this information since then - I'm wondering if anyone has any info on if this is true or not. I'll be doing that connection on August 5th. PDX-ALB.

I checked the other day and it was still listed as valid, along with a few earlier connections.

The LSL is about the only eastbound train that has a reasonable chance of connecting with incoming Empire Builders. The average delay for #8's arriving in CHI for this summer has been well over 4 hours.
