Eight Acelas in Service

Well guys effective Monday there will be eight Acela sets back in service, and seven Metroliner sets. There will now be three round-trips a day to Boston and nine between WAS and NYP (including the three Acela trips to Boston). Another big thing is that 148 and 141 will be going back to Springfield, and the associated Shuttles will be cut off that connected to these trains. Good to see things returning to normal.

inside report says all 20 Acela sets will be back in service by August 22

The Cardinal will also be originating in NYP again, it had be originating in PHL due to the lack of electrics available because of the shortage.
