Email re schedule change

As part of my Canadian trip, I am riding the Maple Leaf to Toronto on November 6. The ticket is actually in two parts: Amtrak train 63 from Albany to the Candian Border and Via Rail train 98 (also listed as Thruway 7098) from the Canadian Border to Toronto.

Today I got an email with the following:

"We wanted to let you know that there has been a schedule change for your trip.

Your updated itinerary:

You're now scheduled to depart on train #7098, from Canadian Border, New York on Monday, November 6th at 5:40pm and arrive in Toronto - Union Station, Ontario on Monday, November 6th at 7:38pm.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for being a valued Amtrak customer - we'll see you onboard."

This is fine, except that the "revised schedule" the exact same as what is on my current eticket. Is there any reason that they're sending this notice?
