Empire Builder #8 delay

Looks like it hit a 4.5 hour delay between HAV and MAL in Montana. I'm on the LSL and we're holding for it -- it looks like it may be into CHI by 10pm.

Meanwhile, it looks like 8(12) (yesterday's e/b EB) left Seattle at 6:58 pm, 2:18 late. It left SPT at 3:48 am, just 1:16 late (probably thanks to the generous padding at SPK to allow for the connection with 28).

Now I see it left LIB at 6:33 am (MT), 1:07 late.

Looks like there was a freight derailment near Glasgow, MT:

On Saturday afternoon, 13 Burlington Northern freight cars on the Montana Hi-Line derailed 57 miles east of Glasgow. Melonas said the train remained intact but was off the track. Its contents will be transferred to another train, he said.
