Indeed. One time many years ago we were stuck in Cut Bank for over 5 hours traveling westbound on the EB while the plows did their work up in Marias Pass to clear the tracks of 15 feet snow drifts. Finally when we did get to go through the pass it was truly spectacular..... snow drifts upto the roofline of Superliners! Quite an unforgettable trip.Got into Portland some 6 hours late.Let us not forget that this is what could happen if they ran the train through weather such as they're having this week. And that could just as well happen to a bustitution as a train (and it would probably be much, much worse if it did happen to a bus...).
