Fares and Discounts

Hi,

I am ( 2 people ) thinking of traveling to New Orleans from Ann Arbor, MI.

My departure date will be Jan 24, 2013.

I am getting a fare of $431.20 ( OW ), with all discounts. ( AAA discount Included. )

Ann Arbor to Chicago Coach.

Chicago to New Orleans Sleeper Roomette.

 

If I wait, to book, what are the odds of getting a better discount ??

Or is it too risky to wait for availability purposes.

I noticed the total cost is higher on Jan 23 . It is higher by $31 ( for the roomette. )

Buy you ticket now. There is no penalty for changing tickets and if a cheaper fare comes you can call back and get the discount.

informative and enjoyable. As saxman advised, make your reservation

now, and if the fare becomes lower, you can cancel your original reservation

and book a new one at the lower cost. It is highly unlikely that the fare

will decrease the nearer to departure date.
