That sounds like a perfect plan to me.I am in the midst of planning our May trip to NOLA. On our departure day, my current plan is to visit one of the grocery stores within walking distance to our Hotel prior to checking out. Possibly the Venti Mart, since it is close to the Hotel where we are staying. I have no problem with ordering some "To-go" food for lunch once we get on the train. Then taxi it over to the train station and hang out in the "plush" lounge for the sleeper passengers.
I will not avoid grabbing an opportunity to rag on the inedible garbage they erroneously refer to as "Chain Food". I say erroneously because it might be chain, but it sure isn't food. Even if the opportunity is a stretch to grab. And that goes doubly so for "Fresh" Subway whose 'food' is not only not fresh, it is far less fresh than even McDonald's.Guys. He asked for suggestions other than Subway, as that was the only place he could remember. He didn't sing the High Holy Praises of the Cold Cut Combo. Simmer down, now.
Oh, I agree. I was replying to Zephyr, mostly. I thought your response was hilarious.I will not avoid grabbing an opportunity to rag on the inedible garbage they erroneously refer to as "Chain Food".
