Well... the voucher from my last experience with Amtrak is burning a hole in my pocket. It's bloody cold here so I talked the wife into letting me go solo to Deerfield Beach to visit some friends.

Booked a sleeper on the Capitol Limited from Cleveland to D.C.

Riding Coach from D.C. to DFB on the Silver Meteor.

On the way home I have a Viewliner sleeper to D.C. and Coach home to Cleveland.

Going in early March. Should be a hoot. Hope things go better than the last Amtrak journey. Figure I'd better go before Amtrak goes under.

One more bad experience and I'm likely to think maybe they should...

I'll be on the Capitol as well during the early part of March. I look forward to getting away from the dull grey MN late winter. It should be a great deal of fun. I had a good trip over the New Year's. This trip should be fun as well.
