Great Dome to run on Adirondack 9/25-11/4

Just saw this announcement that the Great Dome would be running on the Adirondack this fall. No mention of the Cardinal, which is what I would really like to ride it aboard. Do they usually separate these announcements, or does this mean no 50/51 this year? I seem to remember in the past that the announcement was for both, not just one.

Looks like it'll just be on the Adirondack this year. Which is a bummer because I was definitely going to do the dome on the card with the girlfriend if it was available.

Glad I read that and found out the dome car gets added at Albany. Otherwise I might have spent the first hour of the trip walking back and forth wondering where the secret door was

Although it's a shame that Ocean View won't be on the Card this year the ride from Albany up Lake Champlain to Montreal is pretty sweet in a Dome Car!

A nice get away with your SO if y'all can make it or even by yourself!

When they move the car to/from Albany, do they allow passenger's on the Lakeshore to ride in it?

Usually not. But there could always be exceptions.
