Great SCA

We took a recent trip on the Silver Meteor from Winter Haven, FL to Washington, DC. We had a great SCA on car 9810 named Torrance, who took care of us. Even though we have been in a roomette before, Torrance explained everything to us about the arrangements. He made a point to check on us after meals to make sure everything was okay. On the morning of our arrival into DC, we did not get a chance to get to the dining car, since we got to DC a half hour earlier. Torrance took our order and brought us our food and beverage for take out. We eventually ate it at Union Station. We highly recommend Torrance as a sleeping car attendant. He was very personable and attentive. It made for a very pleasant trip.

Most Amtrak OBS are pretty Good Folks, it's the Few Bad Apples :angry: that we hear about the most and Id bet that most of us dont bother to let Amtrak know about the Positive things! I sure try to, hope youll agree!
