If only Amtrak would use some of the stimulus money to repurchase some of these old jewels and have BG fix 'em up! Probably even with the cost of a complete refurbish it would be cheaper than a new car and Amtrak could add to the one dome it still has (shame!)! I dont know what a new car of comparable features would run, probably a few million, but think how many would line up to ride one of these honeys! Thanks Tom!
