hotels.com + AMTRAK promo

Has anyone (especially in California) heard an Amtrak radio promotion with hotels.com offering travel incentives? I just caught the tail end of a radio spot and would love to know to details if anyone out there knows. I think it was free hotel stay or reduced rail fair when completing travel by a specific date if that helps.

My wife and I are scheduled to take our first Amtrak journey in April to New Orleans aboard the Sunset and from the sound of the recent political climate, I'm so glad we did not wait until next year!
