We have been trying to figure out for months with no success how to participate in AGR as a corporation instead of as individuals. We have contacted several different Amtrak representatives and have not been able to get a clear answer to this. Some of our employees are Guest Rewards members, but I want to know how we as a hotel can be a participating member. We would like to be able to pool our GRewards points as employees to offer them to Guests as a sort of Loyalty program.

I don't believe that there is any way to pool points earned by the employees, but the business itself can earn points itself each time an employee travels and earns points. You can learn more about that by clicking here.

Then while you can't give away the points to a guest, you can use the points in the business account to in effect "buy" a guest a ticket on Amtrak. The business will have to make the call to order the ticket, but you can put anyone's name on the ticket.

As for the points earned by the employees, they could probably do the same if that's what they agree to and the company wants.
