I thought rates were suppose to go up on rooms. I just checked the prices and they are the same as they were last week. Hmmm.

The Empire. I am referring to the message that was sent out a couple weeks ago about the sleepers and such going up in price on August 22nd. Maybe I misunderstood.

Those new fares actually went into effect the day they were announced (or maybe a day later). However, they are only in effect at certain times of the year (peak travel periods). From what I understand, the old fares are still going to be used for non-peak periods.

Maybe that is why mine is so high. I think we booked about two weeks ago for next June.
