I returned this week from a 12-day visit to Istanbul, during which I visited Sirkeci Train Station several times. The station was the terminis point for the Orient Express and serves, today, as the state railway terminal and welcomes international trains as well. Inside the station is a small rail museum in which, amongst other things, are relics of the Orient Express.
