I just read a trip report where the writer mentioned having diner while stoped in Las Vegas, NV. This report was dated June 2004. Has Amtrak resumed service to LA. The writer ended his trip in Fullerton, CA

Amtrak ended the desert wind service in 1997. There are two posibilities, one being the author pblished the report this year for a old trip. The other is they were in Las Vegas, NM. That is a stop on the southwest cheif which dose have a station stop in Fullerton. Not very many people think of Las Vegas, NM. My guess is they may have made a typo if they put NV.
