Locked Topic

I have a question? Why does a topic get locked?

I am refering to the topic GG-1. Seemed to be alot of interest and they were operated by Amtrak. So could someone explaine the reason for stopping the exchange.

A locked topic usually occurs when the topic gets off subject, out of hand (emotionally), or gets reptitive. It's left up to the Administrators/Moderators to lock topics.
