I noticed CUS does not have baggage storage. How big are the self service lockers and are they generally available? :help:

Where are the lockers located?
Union Station Does have Luggage Storage available in Two places!
If you're in Biz Class, Sleeper or Select + or SE you can check your bags in the Metro Lounge with the Red Cap.
If in Coach, or just doing a layover, the Baggage Check room between the Platforms and the Amtrak ticket counters will day check your bags for the standard $4 per bag per day!
The lockers can be a PITA to use! Look for them to go away when the upcoming remodeling of Union Station begins!

AMTRAK.com claims no baggage storage at CUS. Is that in error?

Sounds like they're simply preparing for the day when baggage storage has been eradicated from CUS. Once upon a time you could store luggage at virtually any major US airport and look what happened to that.
The lockers are in the baggage claim area of CUS. I've never had a major problem with them. Cost is $12/day, I think, and they're big enough to hold at least a carry-on and a few other items.
Did they move them, or are there two sets of lockers?
I've always used the lockers in the coach waiting area.
There must be two sets. I've only used the ones in the baggage claim area.
