LSL Question

I know that the eastbound LSL (#48) has a wine and cheese reception prior to departure from CUS. However, how are the first class passengers informed of this? It is not listed on my ticket, reservations, or the website. Is it just announced at the Metropolitan Lounge prior to boarding? If so, if you're not present for early boarding, you'd miss out. Just curious.

My experience has been that the SCA tells you when to go to the dining car

for the wine & cheese. I usually go to my room, then go to the dining car

when the SCA tells me to go. Sometimes, there is a delay from the time

you board your sleeping car until the dining car staff is ready.
