Train Attendant
Well, we're half way through our trip and we had a few delays but nothing major. The LSL departed Albany Friday evening (4/25) about 45 min late due to a bridge prolem right out of the station. There was also a bridge issue near Cleveland and freight traffic that backed us up. We were running 3-3.5 hours down towards the end. Ended up in Chicago at 12:30 which gave us only 2 hours to kill before the SWC departed.
We had roomettes on both trains with a lower level one on the SWC. Ultimately got into Kingman about 20 minutes late and caught the van to Vegas. Arrived at the airport at 3am and then to the hotel. Full report when we get back home. Good scenery along the way.
