lunch on SWC 4 out of GBB?

Anyone know if lunch is served on train 4 the last day into Chicago, if so what time does it stop? Getting on in Galesburg 12:08pm next week. Thanks in advance.

I have had lunch on 4 coming into Chicago. I do not know what time (or at what location) serving stops.

I boarded the SWC at GBB in October. It was about 50 minutes late but they were still serving lunch after I boarded. I did not partake but purchased food in the SSL.

If the train is reasonably close to arriving Chicago before dinner service is needed, last call is supposed to occur at PRT with the dining car closing at MDT.

When I got off in GBB about noon in March last year, they gave me a very nice single serving cheesecake and a small salad. FYI there is an Enterprise car rental within walking

distance of the GBB station. I rented for a week and got a lot of AGR points.
