Motorist in stuck car had no pants

OCALA, Fla., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said a 42-year-old man whose car became stuck while he was driving along some railroad tracks was wearing nothing but an inside-out shirt.
Ocala police said the man, whose name was not released because he was not arrested, was driving his 2005 Mitsubishi Gallant along some railroad tracks when the vehicle became stuck in gravel and bushes about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, The (Ocala) Star-Banner reported Friday.

Apparently he was allowed to skate because he has to take care of his "ill mother."

That explanation makes as much sense as any. Why or how the dude wound up on the railroad tracks still is unanswered, but that's probably going to be the case no matter what.

My personal guess would be drugs or some sort of mental retardation. Apparently he was sitting on or near the tracks for something like six hours, just enough time to sleep off a heavy dose of alcohol poisoning. It doesn't sound like this is the kind of guy who would be having much in the way of personal relations with otherwise involved love interests.
