Anyone else listen to Ben Merens radio program interviewing Ross Capon, the executive director of NARP? If not, you can go to Wisconsin Public Radios website and listen to the archive.
I wanted to call but didn't have the chance. Most who called in were in suppor of Amtrak, because they had done a pleasant trip in the past. Another stated he has noticed a huge increase in positive customer service, as well as an increase in ridership over the past 3 years.
I agree. Since coming to college, there has been a huge increase in ridership, even during non-peak travel times.
I wanted to ask if there were any way of improving ontime performance by dealing with the frieght railroads. I also wanted to comment how in many cases traveling between say, Chi and NY, it may be cheaper to fly, but not between North Dakota or Seattle. Its much more expensive to fly.
Any comments about the show?
